Why do I tire myself tonight?
Cause maybe…
When I’m already tired,
I’ll stop thinking of you tonight.

I won’t have to cry myself to sleep.

I won’t have to pray to God about you.
When I’m already tired,
I won’t have dreams about you anymore.
When I’m already tired,
I’ll stop wishing for your warmth tonight.
When I’m already tired,
I won’t have to think how it would be if we’re still together.
And maybe. Just maybe.
When I’m already tired,
I’ll finally stop wishing for your touch, warmth, kiss and your love.
And maybe, I’ll finally sleep soundly tonight. | |
