im a musician and i have been observing bands since i grew interested in music.

for me the best opm bands are:

1. bamboo
2. urbandub
3. parokya ni edgar
4. itchyworms
5. rocksteddy

and the worst are:

1. chicosci
2. spongecola
3. soapdish
4. moonstar88
5. callalily

Slapshock (nice yung STRANDED. and be proud. International artist na sila)

Base on my fathers perspective... rico blanco is doing good. his music is nice... ^_^

though i dont like him.

Ok.... in my own opinion........

Worst bands ever for JOAT..
1.Cushe - i just dont like their style(common), songs(shallow),
2.Sponge cola - "The vocals are annoying and they are "pa-cute ^_^"
3. parokya ni edgar - Humor is Korny and they've became kornier than ever... though i was their fan when i was in high school, with their album "kangkongkernitz"
4. Chicosi - MY reminiscence of The cure, if they think, making your voice go up to the level that it sounds like gay.., will make them famous, they are wrong....
5 Typecast - Bunch of wasted freak one hit wonders .. peace....
making impossible titles similar to, "constipation is always her"

i do agree that Spongecola is so pacute and so korny. also Chicosci, nagiging corny na din, lalo na callalily. Ang cueshe naman, sinira ang mundo ng "BISROCK" ang Urbandub and The Ambassadors ok mayado na bands. sila lang naka sira. grr. Sayang din ang typecast talaga, ONE HIT WONDERS. tsk

@topic isa pa sa umaangat sa bands ngayon for is itchyworms

ang hirap sephrahin ng songs nila. grr. hehe. and hindi sila yung typical na alternative rock band. meron silang halong disco. cool

i agree, itchyworms sound is not that typical "shred that guitar riff and sing in baritone" hehehe

their sound seem to be danceable.. like, if you hear it, youll always have the reaction of moving a part of your body to relate to its beat, for exAmple is "loveteam" Nice ^_^
